The FieldReveal™ Multi-Layer Solution

Our zone management system collects field data and puts it to work in profitable ways.

Flat-rate application often results in spreading fertilizer on areas that already have sufficient nutrient levels. Zone-based application ensures optimal rates are being applied at all times, which is better for crops as well as the bottom line.

This multi-layer approach helps identify variability in nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and zinc — variability that single-layer zone management programs may not see.

The following data is collected from the field — soil electrical conductivity (EC), RTK-measured elevation, and GNDVI crop vigor measurement. It is then sent to the FieldReveal™ Mapping Center team where GIS and data management experts identify and create up to 12 different management zones within a single field. Non-MZB zone maps can also be imported and managed using the FieldReveal platform.

The Whole Picture: MZB fields are zoned with up to twelve management zones. Layers used during the zoning process include electrical conductivity, RTK elevation, and a yield potential layer. MZB Zone Maps are the tools for variable-rate seeding and multi-hybrid zone management.

MZB Lite Zone Maps
Mid-tier Zone Management: MZB Lite Zones are fields with up to five management zones. The zone may contain areas that will fit other zone descriptions if the field is enrolled in the MZB Zone System. MZB Lite Zone fields may include two topography zones and low, medium, or high yield potential zones.

GeoRef Plus Maps
Entry-level Zone Management: GeoRef Plus Zone fields are created using only satellite imagery for yield potential. This map type will have three management zones: low, medium and high yield. GeoRef Plus Zone fields are composite-sampled.
