Flat-rate application often results in spreading fertilizer on areas that already have sufficient nutrient levels. Zone-based application ensures optimal rates are being applied at all times, which is better for crops as well as the bottom line.
This multi-layer approach helps identify variability in nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and zinc — variability that single-layer zone management programs may not see.
The following data is collected from the field — soil electrical conductivity (EC), RTK-measured elevation, and GNDVI crop vigor measurement. It is then sent to the FieldReveal™ Mapping Center team where GIS and data management experts identify and create up to 12 different management zones within a single field. Non-MZB zone maps can also be imported and managed using the FieldReveal platform.

Customer Testimonial:
“The FieldReveal platform has been a great system for us at Agtegra Cooperative. It has evolved from simply a very detailed variable-rate nutrient recommendation tool to a complete agronomy operations system as well. It helps us manage soil sample requests automatically with our partnered soil labs, release fields for application to our dispatch platform, and quickly create variable-plant population and multi-hybrid/variety recommendations. The ability to wirelessly send VR files to compatible controllers has been a real time saver for agronomists and allows them to manage a large number of acres very efficiently. FieldReveal allows us to maintain a great customer relationship with our patrons by more effectively achieving yield expectations on their operations.”
