Cat claims Pullman, WA as her hometown, although she ‘did time’ in Ohio as a soybean breeder after earning her graduate degree from Montana State University.

In 2015, Cat jumped at the opportunity to move back home when she accepted the role of Director of Research & Technology for The McGregor Company. Cat is committed to addressing region-specific agricultural challenges and applying research to directly benefit farmers, emphasizing the practical application of scientific discoveries to improve crop yields and manage plant nutrients effectively.

When she isn’t chasing crops around the PNW, Cat enjoys chasing cans with her daughter at barrel racing competitions and family rodeos.
