Position Summary:
FieldReveal is seeking an experienced professional to join our Mapping Center team in Watertown, SD as a Customer Operations Specialist. This is a mid-level role built for someone who has spent years in a demanding, client-facing environment and knows how to manage competing priorities without losing focus on the customer.
The Customer Operations Specialist sits at the intersection of customer support and data production. You will be the primary point of contact for FieldReveal customers reaching out by phone or email, while also playing a hands-on role in the data processing workflows that drive our business. You will develop and maintain the internal SOPs that keep our Mapping Center running at a high standard and help us scale our services as we grow. This role is a direct path towards management for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound and outbound customer support via phone and email
Manage support requests from initial contact through resolution
Develop and maintain SOPs for internal data production and support workflows
Identify process gaps and implement improvements to support team consistency and growth
Assist with daily data processing and management of precision ag spatial data
Coordinate with the Mapping Center Manager on workflow priorities and processing timelines
Assist with internal and external training programs
Help customers build a working understanding of FieldReveal's products and methodology
Represent FieldReveal at industry events and customer meetings as needed

Skills and Qualifications:
Required
5 or more years of professional experience in a client-facing or operations role
Demonstrated ability to learn and communicate technical products or processes
Experience developing or following documented procedures in a professional setting
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general comfort with technology
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be located in or willing to permanently relocate to the Watertown, SD area
Preferred (Not Required)
Background in agriculture, ag lending, crop insurance, or a related field
Experience with GIS, spatial data, or precision agriculture platforms
Experience writing or maintaining SOPs or process documentation
Interest in long-term growth into a team leadership role
Additional Requirements:
This is a full-time, on-site position in Watertown, SD. Remote work is not available for this role.
Travel required approximately 10% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.
This role operates in a professional office environment. Extended hours may be required during peak processing season.
